No More Store

I told you guys if one person made this difficult, I’d bail.

OK Klunkers, I’m super pissed.

Because last year, when I opened my t-shirt and accessory shop, I did so with good intentions and hoped it would be received with the same.

And while I never sold a ton of shirts, nor did I intend to, that was the way it had been—good vibes only.

Until today.

When some guy in a town called Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, ordered a shirt… and according to all my shipping and tracking, RECEIVED said shirt…

Then went ahead and registered a dispute against my store on the very day it was delivered, took his refund and stuck me with a fine and 100% of the burden of proof.

Even if I win, which I hopefully will because the evidence is all in my favour, it will take months and I’ll be out the cash plus the fine the whole time.

It’s so goddamn lame.

Like, I make about $2 on each of these shirts. I do it for fun. And people like this guy, who I could name but won’t bother ’cause I’m not a snitch, take advantage.

So that’s it. One strike and I’m out. The store is shut down. No fun shirts for anyone.

No fun at all.

  1. No soup for you!
Well a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do”
Sorry for the hassle. My son purchased me a shirt from the store a while back and it was a smooth as silk transaction.
Best success in the vindication process.

    1. Ha ha, thanks man. Appreciate it. I know it may seem like I’m overreacting, but honestly this whole thing is just meant to be fun… and it worried me a bit that one person could stick me for like $40 so easily. What if 10, or 100 people did it? Anyway, if I could do the store again, which maybe I will, I’d run it through Etsy for a little extra security. PS: I know it may have been a bit disappointing to see the first post in months be me whining… I do have some exciting plans for this site! Thanks to all.
